About
Phoebe Chu was born and raised in Hong Kong. She completed her Master degree in architecture at the Oslo school of architecture and design. Now, she works as an architect at Jensen & Skodvin, a renowned architectural office based in Norway.
She earned her bachelor degree in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In the past 10 years, she worked in Lund hagem(Norway), Transborder studio (Norway), JDS Architects (Belgium) and Design Systems Ltd (HK). Her works located in Scandinavia, England, Hong Kong, Shanghai and South China, including hotel hospitality, retails, housing and museum design. The projects she worked as a key designer from design to completion in Design Systems ltd are “Tuve Hotel” and “Silver Room”, both have received more than 25 awards from around the world, including Asia, UK, US and Australia. These two projects also brought Design Systems Ltd and her a golden award in 2017 Asia Design Awards.
She also worked in several projects around Norway, Finland and Russia. In 2017, she was awarded a Special Mention in the Europan Norway 14 competition with Tin.uno. In 2021, She was awarded an honorary mention among 472 entries in the open international competition for a new Sara Hilden museum in Tampere, Finland with Airstudio.no. Lately, The callabration she has with Airstudio and Haptic Architects on Hjertelia Housing was awarded 2nd place in Europan Norway.
出生及成長於香港,並在奧斯陸建築和設計學院完成她的建築碩士學位,現於挪威著名建築事務所 Jensen & Skodvin 任職。
她於香港理工大學取得她的學士學位,在過去十年間曾在挪威Lundhagem 和 Transborder studio,比利時 JDS Architects 、香港設計集人Design Systems Ltd 工作。她負責的項目包括在北歐、英國、香港、上海和中國等地的酒店及零售等空間設計、住宅和博物管等項目。她在 Design Systems Ltd 為主要項目“Tuve Hotel” 及“Silver Room”的主要設計師之一,這兩個項目更奪得世界各地,包括亞洲、英國、美國和澳洲等地超過二十五個獎項。這些項目亦為Design Systems Ltd 團隊與她帶來二零一七年亞洲設計獎金獎。
